TRAINING

NIRPHAD believes in the adage, 'A programme is as good as its training component'.

NIRPHAD has provided healthcare exposure to 64 (till 2009) expatriates (from 4 continents) till date and has an ongoing programme with the Laval University of Quebec Canada where 2nd Year medical students are given insight into delivery of low cost healthcare systems, In 2008, 6 medical students from Laval, 2 final year nurses from McMaster University (Canada), one MD from Emory University completed this training.

NIRPHAD provides ongoing training in all sectors to staff and community specifically pertaining to their disciplines (Laval and CBM will be involved in a community based rehabilitation progammes and also a separate nutrition programme from 2010.
