Administration and the Workforce
Decentralization
was the need of the hour as all activities were taking place on the
field. This strategy has enabled the local staff & target representatives
to be trained and take full responsibility of implementation, training,
accountability, future planning and evaluation.
In 2008, the staffing pattern & volunteers is as follows:
- Chattikara Growth Centre:
43 + 5 volunteers
- Bajna Growth Center: 9 + volunteers
- Swarn Jayanti Samudaik: 104
- Agra Urban Health Programme: 41 + volunteers
- State Innovations for Family Planning Service Agency: 32 + ASHA staff
- Delhi HQ: 1 Advisor to the Director, 1 Coordinator and Finance Officer
(2 days a week), 1 Auditor, 1 Hon. Consultant for children’s and
women’s issues; 1 Driver; 1 Secuirity; 2 Domestic helpers.
- 3 Legal experts, frequently used but not on a regular pay roll.
All the Centers have permanent
infrastructure and adequate staff to implement all the programs.
